I am a graphic designer with significant corporate experience. I am enthusiastic and passionate about many forms of design, including beautifully designed sports cars such as Aston Martin, Maserati and Ferrari. I enjoy traveling and photographing architecture, landscapes and lifestyles. I respect well designed typefaces, white space and clean layouts. I aim to create design solutions that are intuitive and informative. I am social, enjoy group settings and the sharing of ideas.

Having studied design in the early 90’s, most of my formal education was very tactile and hands-on. We were taught to present using Letraset, T-squares, rubber cement and Exact-O knives. Upon entering the workforce, I quickly moved into the digital software world needed to design, present and produce. I am an expert at lithography press checks, believing print material should be produced with care to ensure proper corporate brand and image are upheld. I study site navigation and user interfaces, noting new trends, but understanding the fundamentals that must be kept for a website to be user friendly and functional. I have experience working with web developers for custom coding but also create sites in WordPress independently.

I am a self starter. I enjoy working directly with clients as I am interested in the business side of things. I have a long track record in the corporate world developing brands and applying them in either print or digital form. I can work alone no problem, but as I said, I am social so I seek to work in creative environments. When several talented people get together to work on a project, great things happen. Everything is questioned and refined, more than once. I like that. I have seen how a good design can become great. And great design is inspiring.
